Development and implementation of the microfracture technique began in the early 1980s. The surgical goal was to produce "microfractures" in the subchondral bone perpendicular to the surface and to be able to reach all areas of the joint with the instruments. The microfracture technique has been demonstrated to be an effective arthroscopic treatment for full-thickness chondral lesions and joints with degenerative lesions. This technique is cost effective, technically not complicated, has an extremely low rate of associated patient morbidity, and leaves options for further treatment. Patient compliance with rehabilitation, knee alignment, and the depth of the cartilage rim surrounding the lesion are a few of the factors that can affect the outcomes following microfracture.

Background: This study investigated the impact of higher interfragmentary compression force (IFCF) on the stability of locking plate fixation in lateral tibial plateau fractures.
Methods: Biomechanical experiments and finite element analysis (FEA) were employed to compare the performance of the AO cancellous lag screw (AOCLS) and a newly developed combined cancellous lag screw (CCLS).
Results: The results demonstrated that the CCLS provided a higher IFCF without the risk of over-screwing, significantly improving fixation stability.

Objective: To evaluate the shear bond strength (SBS) and adhesive remnant index (ARI) scores of metal brackets to glazed lithium disilicate reinforced glass-ceramics and zirconia according to various surface treatment protocols.
Methods: A total of 240 lithium disilicate ceramic (LD) and 240 zirconia (Zr) blocks were randomly divided according to sandblasting, hydrofluoric acid (HF) etching, universal primer use, and the adhesive system applied. A maxillary canine metal bracket was bonded to each sample with resin cement (Transbond XT, TXT).

Purpose: To investigate the effect of concomitant chronic lateral ankle instability (CLAI) on postoperative clinical outcomes in patients with osteochondral lesions of the talus (OLTs).
Methods: Patients who underwent surgery for OLTs between January 2018 and May 2022 were retrospectively evaluated. OLT procedures involved debridement, microfracture, or bone grafting, while concomitant CLAI underwent lateral ligament repair or reconstruction.

Objectives: To compare the mechanical performance of partially replaced (repaired) intra-coronal restorations to totally replaced ones in root canal-treated teeth.
Methods: Thirty maxillary second premolars were selected according to strict criteria, mounted on moulds, and had mesio-occluso-distal (MOD) cavities prepared. Resin composite restorative material was used to perform the initial restoration, followed by aging procedures using thermo-mechanical cycling fatigue to replicate six months of intraoral aging.

Background: Patellar fractures present challenges in treatment, with traditional methods often leading to complications such as loss of reduction and implant failure. This study aimed to compare a novel suture fixation technique with the traditional tension band method using finite element analysis.
Methods: CT images of a healthy 35-year-old male were used to construct 3D patellar models.
