We presented a case of a 49-year-old presenting with atypical chest pain and hypertrophic phenotype cardiomyopathy without coronary artery disease. At cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR), the left ventricle was of normal volumes and preserved global ejection fraction with an asymmetric wall hypertrophy. The evaluation of native myocardial T1 has been calculated at an average global value of 924 ms, compatible with hypertrophic phenotype cardiomyopathy with reduced native T1 values as observed in Anderson-Fabry disease.

Objective: To investigate the cost-effectiveness of a cardiac rehabilitation program in individuals with stroke compared with customary care.
Design: A Markov model was created using a 30-year time horizon, with cycle lengths of 1 year to determine the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of a cardiac rehabilitation program in persons with stroke. Input parameters were based on recently published literature.

Purpose: Postoperative pain is a major concern for patients undergoing ultrasound scalpel-assisted hemorrhoidectomy, potentially exacerbated by delayed wound healing. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of an intimate cleansing gel containing chlorhexidine, hyaluronic acid, and other anti-inflammatory agents (Antroclean Fisioderm) on postoperative pain, itching, and wound healing in patients who had undergone this procedure.
Methods: This multicenter observational case-control study involved a cohort of consecutive adult patients who underwent hemorrhoidectomy using an ultrasound device.

Chronotropic incompetence (CTI), the inability of the heart to increase its rate with increased activity, leads to exercise intolerance and predicts overall mortality. We previously reported that cardiac β-adrenergic receptor downregulation occurs in patients with CTI without heart failure (HF), indicating postsynaptic sympathetic nervous dysfunction. However, cardiac presynaptic sympathetic nervous system function in CTI is not fully understood.
