The unicuspid unicommisural aortic valve is an uncommon congenital malformation that often manifests as stenosis with or without regurgitation in adults in their third to fifth decades of life. This report characterizes the morphological features of surgically excised unicuspid valves in adults with clinical correlation. Among the surgically excised aortic valves over a period of 10 years, the clinical data and morphological features of unicuspid aortic valves were analyzed.

The topic of the timing of the manifestation of age-associated diseases (as an indirect indicator of accelerated population aging) after the transfer of COVID-19 remains an urgent area in scientific research. Early targeted diagnosis can significantly reduce the consequences of pathology, in connection with which the features of the manifestation of various nosologies in the post-COVID period were studied. To evaluate the effect of early measurement of serum digoxin concentration (SDC) on therapeutical safety and efficacy in patients with recent-onset atrial fibrillation and heart failure.
