Malignant glioma is a highly fatal central nervous system malignancy with high recurrence rates. Oncolytic viruses offer potential treatment but need improvement in efficacy and safety. Here we describe a phase I, dose-escalating, single arm trial (ChiCTR2000032402) to study the safety of Ad-TD-nsIL12, an oncolytic adenovirus expressing non-secreting interleukin-12, in patients with recurrent high-grade glioma that connects with the ventricular system.

Introduction: Paediatric CSF shunt infection rate remains a well-known complication that is not only responsible of potentially severe sequels for patients but also for economical expenses. In that study, we questioned if it is possible to attain the zero percent rate of infection that should be the goal of every paediatric neurosurgeon.
Methods: We report our series of patients treated with a CSF device from January the first 2016 to December 31 2018.

Background: Fronto-facial monobloc advancement with internal distraction (FFMBA) is a central procedure in the management of FGFR-related craniosynostoses. Children undergoing FFMBA may present with resorption of the frontal bony flap in the months or years following surgery. Here, we aimed at identifying the clinical factors associated with resorption and its extent in patients with Crouzon and Pfeiffer syndromes.

Background: The disruption of intracranial fluid dynamics due to large unruptured cerebral arteriovenous malformation (AVM) commonly triggers a domino effect within the central nervous system. This phenomenon is frequently overlooked in prior clinic and may lead to catastrophic misdiagnoses. Our team has documented the world's first case of so-called () induced by a AVM.
