Objective: To assess the effectiveness and safety profiles of rivaroxaban compared to low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) in managing lower extremity deep vein thrombosis (DVT) subsequent to thoracoscopic lung cancer surgery.
Methods: Sixty patients diagnosed with lower extremity deep vein thrombosis (DVT) following thoracoscopic lung cancer surgery were randomly assigned to two groups: the experimental group comprising 30 patients treated with rivaroxaban, and the control group consisting of 30 patients treated with low molecular weight heparin (LMWH). The fundamental clinical characteristics of patients in both groups were documented, encompassing parameters, along with pre- and post-surgical lower limb vascular ultrasound findings.
Background: Anakinra is an interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (IL-1Ra). Since IL-1 has been shown to play a key role in the etiology of different autoinflammatory diseases, blocking its pathway has become an important therapeutic target, even in neonates.
Aims: We aimed to report our experience in using anakinra to treat specific neonatal inflammatory conditions.

Aim: This study aimed to explore the application effect of comfort nursing based on evidence-based concept in radial artery puncture hemostasis of patients after coronary intervention.
Methods: This interventional study included the clinical data of 180 patients who underwent percutaneous radial coronary intervention in Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine, from July 2024 to September 2024. All patients were treated with radial artery hemostasis device after operation.

Safe, effective pain management remains one of the biggest challenges following surgical procedures. Despite widespread recognition of this problem and advances in the mechanistic understanding of pain signaling, post-surgical pain is often undermanaged, with opioid use remaining the clinical standard. As an alternative to current oral, systemic treatments, a degradable bupivacaine-loaded poly(ester urea) (PEU) thin film has been developed to deliver bupivacaine directly to the site of injury over an extended duration.
