Objective: Marine fishing ranks among the most hazardous occupations globally, with risks intensifying for small-sized vessels venturing deeper into the sea due to the scarcity of near-shore fish and high market demand. This study identifies various occupational hazards and the use of safety equipment among small-scale motorized fishers using traditional fishing methods in the southernmost coastal regions of India.
Methods: The primary data were collected from 253 artisanal small-scale motorized fishers through a multi-stage stratified random sampling method.

Background: Depression that occurs in pregnancy or postpartum (perinatal depression) impacts 1 in 5 mothers, yet access to effective and high-quality preventative interventions remains elusive for most. Digital interventions are a promising solution to this treatment gap because of the ubiquity of mobile devices and internet access. Radiation from wireless communication devices inside intelligent connected vehicles has been an expeditious growth of concern regarding possible adverse effects on human health. Due to the significant differences in the working scenarios compared to traditional mobile products, the traditional measuring systems of specific absorption rate (SAR) are not applicable to in-vehicle scenarios.
