Objectives: To evaluate the safety and efficacy of transhepatic cardia-gastric fundus puncture (TCFP) for insufflation for CT-guided percutaneous gastrostomy (CPG).

Methods: The clinical data of 38 patients who underwent TCFP for insufflation and 161 patients who underwent percutaneous gastric body for insufflation at a single center were retrospectively analyzed. The operative time, success rate, complication rate, overall procedure time, and incidence of complications within 3 months were collected.

This study identifies independent predictive indicators to distinguish autoimmune gastritis from ()-induced atrophic gastritis and validates their diagnostic performance to compare laboratory indicators of autoimmune gastritis and -induced atrophic gastritis. A retrospective comparison of laboratory examination indicators was conducted for chronic atrophic gastritis patients with involvement of the gastric fundus and corpus, who were followed up at the Department of Gastroenterology, Xijing Hospital, from January 2014 to September 2024. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were utilized to determine the optimal cutoff points and corresponding diagnostic thresholds.

Rhythmic bioelectrical activity known as slow waves is in part responsible for coordinating the contractions in the stomach, which play a crucial role in maintaining healthy digestion. Slow waves are generated by specialized pacemaker cells named interstitial cells of Cajal (ICC) distributed within smooth muscle cells of the stomach wall. In this study, tissue samples were collected from four regions (cardia, fundus, corpus, and antrum) of the stomach of a transgenic mouse that expressed green fluorescent protein in the ICC.
