Background: The aim of this study was to compare the shear bond strength of four one-step self-etch adhesives with different pH values to enamel and dentin.
Materials And Methods: In this in vitro study, 200 bovine permanent mandibular incisors were used. Four one-step self-etch adhesives with different pH values were tested both on enamel and on dentin: Adper™ Easy Bond Self-Etch Adhesive (pH = 0.8-1), Futurabond NR (pH=2), G-aenial Bond (pH = 1.5), Clearfil S(3) Bond (pH = 2.7). After adhesive systems application, a nanohybrid composite resin was inserted into the bonded surface. The specimens were placed in a universal testing machine. The shear bond strength was performed at a cross-head speed of 1 mm/min until the sample rupture. The shear bond strength values (MPa) of the different groups were compared with analysis of variance after that Kolmogorov and Smirnov tests were applied to assess normality of distributions. P < 0.05 was considered as significant.
Results: In enamel shear bond strength, the highest shear bond strength values were reported with Futurabond NR (P < 0.01); however, no significant differences were found with Clearfil S(3) Bond. The others adhesive systems showed lower shear bond strength values with significant differences between them (P < 0.05). When comparing the dentin shear bond strength, the lowest shear bond strength values were reported with Clearfil S(3) Bond (P < 0.05), while there were no significant differences among the other three products (P > 0.05).
Conclusion: The pH values of adhesive systems did not influence significantly their shear bond strength to enamel or dentin.

This in vitro study aims to evaluate various surface treatments on the shear bond strength and failure mode of CAD/CAM PMMA teeth to the heat-polymerized acrylic denture base. The study sample consisted of 100 teeth that were divided equally into five groups: Group 1: denture artificial teeth (control), Group 2: PMMA teeth without surface treatment, Group 3: PMMA teeth with MMA etching, Group 4: PMMA teeth with sandblasting (aluminum oxide particles), and Group 5: PMMA teeth with perpendicular grooves. The shear bond strength test was performed using a universal testing machine and the failure mode was recorded.

Purpose: This study investigated the bond strength between short fiber-reinforced resin composite (SFC) and dentin following air abrasion with various types of abrasive particles.
Methods: A total of 120 human molars were prepared for a shear bond strength (SBS) test of the resin composite. The teeth were divided into 12 groups (n = 10/group) based on the air abrasion particle used.

Background: Bleaching is a conservative treatment option to deliver esthetic smile makeover for discoloured tooth. Various concentration of bleaching agents can influence the bonding of the restoration to the tooth.
Aims And Objectives: The aim of the study was to determine the effect of glutathione on bond strength of composite resin to enamel following extra coronal bleaching at two different time intervals.

Background: Silver diamine fluoride (SDF) has gained popularity for its caries-arresting properties, yet its tendency to cause esthetic concerns due to black-staining limits its widespread acceptance.
Aim: The aim of the study was to evaluate and compare the shear bond strength of Activa BioActive and Giomer restorative material with different protocols of SDF pretreatment on carious dentin.
Materials And Methods: Ninety-two extracted teeth were decoronated at the cementoenamel junction, sectioned 1 mm into dentin, mounted in acrylic resin and randomly divided into four ( = 8) control and six ( = 10) experimental groups.

The creep failure of rocks is related to its microstructure, external loading and time. A nonlinear yield model was introduced to describe the variation in the cohesion and friction angle with plastic strain and intergranular stress. The mechanical properties and creep characteristics of deep granite were obtained by indoor tests, and a variable radius particle clump model was constructed based on the particle flow method.
