Objective: To report how a case of isolated middle cuneiform dislocation is diagnosed mainly by suspicion and careful imaging.
Clinical Presentation And Intervention: A 39-year-old male presented with localized foot pain after a sideways compression of the foot on ground. X-rays revealed an empty middle cuneiform site .CT confirmed the finding of an isolated middle cuneiform dislocation .He had operative reduction and stabilization, followed by a good foot function.
Conclusion: The diagnosis of such an injury should be kept in mind in patients while examining the foot injuries in general. Imaging including CT scan of the foot is necessary to confirm the diagnosis and to plan for the surgical treatment. The case was presented to highlight the need to watch out for them and care for them at the earliest.

Background: Midfoot pain is common but poorly understood, with radiographs often indicating no anomalies. This study aimed to describe bone, joint and soft tissue changes and to explore associations between MRI-detected abnormalities and clinical symptoms (pain and disability) in a group of adults with midfoot pain, but who were radiographically negative for osteoarthritis.
Methods: Community-based participants with midfoot pain underwent an MRI scan of one foot and scored semi-quantitatively using the Foot OsteoArthritis MRI Score (FOAMRIS).

Background: Bipartite medial cuneiform bone (BMC) is located at the Lisfranc joint of the midfoot, and it represents a rare variant involving two separate ossification centers in the medial cuneiform bone. Although BMC is typically asymptomatic, it can become clinically relevant under conditions of trauma or chronic stress, affecting foot stability.
Case Report: The current imaging report describes a 48-year-old female presenting with chronic dorsal midfoot pain, worsened by extended standing and ambulation.

Naviculocuneiform (NC) arthrodesis is considered a challenging procedure compared to arthrodesis of other medial column joints and/or hindfoot fusions. The objectives of this study were to 1) report the incidence of nonunion and complications after NC arthrodesis with or without adjunct joint arthrodesis, and 2) report incidences in which a fixation method was used and report how many cuneiform joints were fused. A retrospective review of medical charts and radiographs were performed on patients from 1/2013 through 11/2023 at a single institution in the Midwest region.
