GAN-based data reconstruction attacks in split learning.

Neural Netw

January 2025

Key Laboratory of Aerospace Information Security and Trusted Computing, Ministry of Education, School of Cyber Science and Engineering, Wuhan University, Wuhan 430072, China. Electronic address:

Due to the distinctive distributed privacy-preserving architecture, split learning has found widespread application in scenarios where computational resources on the client side are limited. Unlike clients in federated learning retaining the whole model, split learning partitions the model into two segments situated separately on the server and client ends, thereby preventing direct access to the complete model structure by either party and fortifying its resilience against attacks. However, existing studies have demonstrated that even with access restricted to partial model outputs, split learning remains susceptible to data reconstruction attacks.

A platform noise dataset of various types of subway stations during all operating hours.

Sci Data

January 2025

ZheJiang Communications Investment Group Co., Ltd., ITS Branch, Hangzhou, 310000, China.

The subjective perceptions of passengers are intricately linked to the noise levels in subway stations of urban rail transit systems. In this study, comprehensive measurement was conducted on the noise environment on the platforms during operational hours at four distinct types of subway stations within an urban metro network. To ensure precise data collection, four different noise and sound pressure measurement points were strategically positioned in the middle and at both ends of each station platform.

January 2025

Ningxia Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences, Institute of Plant Protection, Yinchuan, China.

Insect odorant-binding proteins (OBPs) are the key proteins in insect olfactory perception and play an important role in the perception and discrimination of insects. is a polyphagous pest and seriously harms the quality and yield of fruits, flowers and crops worldwide. Therefore, the discovery of OBPs has greatly improved the understanding of behavioural response that mediates the chemoreception of .

Integrated NMR-crystallography-computational approach for molecular recognition studies of human Gαi3 protein by a small molecule inhibitor.

Int J Biol Macromol

December 2024

Instituto de Biomedicina de Valencia (IBV), CSIC, Valencia 46010, Spain; Centro de Investigación Príncipe Felipe, Unidad Asociada a IBV, Valencia 46012, Spain. Electronic address:

The small molecule IGGi-11 targets Gαi subunits of heterotrimeric guanine nucleotide-binding proteins. Gα subunits are activated by G-protein-coupled receptors in response to extracellular stimuli by accelerating the exchange of GDP for GTP, but they are also activated by intracellular proteins like GIV, of which elevated levels correlate with increased cell migration and cancer metastasis. IGGi-11 disrupts the interaction of Gαi proteins with GIV and inhibits pro-invasive traits of metastatic breast cancer cells without interfering with GPCR signaling.
