Objective: This study evaluated the effects of the somatic antigen of the hydatid cyst protoscolex on wound healing in mice with full-thickness skin wounds.
Methods: Fifty-four adult mice, weighing 25 ± 5 g and approximately 60 days old, were divided into three groups (A, B, and C), each further divided into three subgroups.

Background: Hydatid cysts (HC) are primarily found in the liver, with secondary occurrences in the lungs and other organs. The presence of HCs in the anterior chest wall is notably rare, and even more so when associated with HCs in the liver.
Case Presentation: A 53-year-old male reported to our facility with a non-painful lump on his chest's front wall.

The hydatid cyst is a cosmopolitan parasitic infection caused by tapeworms of the genus and is a major public health problem in developing countries. Solitary hydatid cysts located in the buttocks are very rare, and the unusual location of the cyst can aid in the differential diagnosis of subcutaneous masses in this area, particularly in endemic areas. In this report, we present the case of a 39-year-old man who was admitted to the emergency department with a painful, abscessed cyst in the buttock region.
