A combination of Essentiale and adebit was used in the treatment of 62 patients (age: 60-89 years) with stable stenocardia. Essentiale normalizes the cholesterol metabolism, adebit normalizes the carbohydrate metabolism. Objectives: Aneurysmal subarachnoid haemorrhage (ASAH) is a severe stroke type, preventable by screening for intracranial aneurysms followed by treatment in high-risk individuals. We aimed to develop and validate a risk prediction model for ASAH in the general population to identify high-risk individuals.

Design: We used the population-based prospective cohort studies of the United Kingdom (UK) Biobank for model development and the Trøndelag Health (HUNT) Study for model validation.

Background: In preliminary research and literature review, we identified a potential link between chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and lipid metabolism. Therefore, this study employed Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis to investigate the potential causal connection between blood lipids and COPD.

Materials And Methods: A genome-wide association study (GWAS) on COPD was conducted, encompassing a total of 112,583 European participants from the MRC-IEU.

Elevated blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels induced by secondary causes are frequently observed. The identification and appropriate handling of these causes are essential for secondary dyslipidemia treatment. Major secondary causes of hypercholesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemia include an unhealthy diet, diseases and metabolic conditions affecting lipid levels, and therapeutic side effects.

Background: Hemoglobin (HGB) is a pigment protein found in human red blood cells. Laboratories usually measure hemoglobin using a colorimetric method. The factor that causes the increase of blood turbidity (hypertri-glyceridemia) can lead to the false increase of HGB, and also cause a significant increase of MCH and MCHC.
