Purpose: The survival benefits of neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC) for locally advanced gastric cancer (LAGC) patients are inconsistent. This study aims to investigate how different tumor regression grades (TRG) influence the survival gains associated with NAC treatment.
Methods: This study compared the treatment outcomes of patients who underwent CSC (neoadjuvant chemotherapy - surgery - adjuvant chemotherapy) with those receiving traditional SC (surgery - adjuvant chemotherapy) treatment.

Background: The feasibility and outcomes of neoadjuvant doublet chemotherapy with cisplatin and docetaxel followed by surgical resection of residual disease (NAC + S) for patients with newly diagnosed, resectable p16 positive (+) oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) has been reported from a single institution. Here, we report pathologic responses, need for adjuvant treatment and recurrence-free survival (RFS) following this treatment from a second large academic institution.
Methods: A retrospective cohort study of patients with p16 + OPSCC receiving NAC + S and risk-adjusted adjuvant treatment between January 2017 and March 2024 was performed.

Introduction: The use of taxanes in the adjuvant setting of early breast cancer (BC) confers survival benefits, however, their role in older patients merits further study. This retrospective pooled analysis of randomized controlled trials conducted by the Hellenic Oncology Research Group (HORG) aims to assess the efficacy and safety of taxane-based adjuvant chemotherapy in older women with BC.
Materials And Methods: Five phase III trials containing a taxane, conducted by HORG between 1995 and 2013, were included in a patient-data pooled analysis.
