Rationale And Objectives: To assess the predictive value of MRI-based radiomics of periprostatic fat (PPF) and tumor lesions for predicting Gleason score (GS) upgrading from biopsy to radical prostatectomy (RP) in prostate cancer (PCa).

Methods: A total of 314 patients with pathologically confirmed prostate cancer (PCa) after radical prostatectomy (RP) were included in the study. The patients were randomly assigned to the training cohort (n = 157) and the validating cohort (n = 157) in a 1:1 ratio.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the diagnostic accuracy of a new noninvasive imaging technique, ultrasound-guided attenuation parameter (UGAP), in diagnosing hepatic steatosis. This single-center retrospective study included 81 UGAP studies performed to guide therapy between July 2022 and June 2023 at a large academic medical center. Patients with either liver biopsy or Magnetic resonance-based proton-density fat fraction (MRI-PDFF) within 12 months of US-UGAP imaging, irrespective of order, were included.

Background: Gluteal hypoplasia and ptosis reduction are common concerns among patients seeking optimal body contouring in Peru and other countries. Although silicone implants are a traditional solution, they are not suitable for all patients. Fat grafting has emerged as an alternative, with various techniques aimed at enhancing fat graft viability and patient safety.

Background: This study evaluated the spread of a local anesthetic, using MRI and sensory blockade, after an intertransverse process block (ITPB) at the medial aspect of the retro-superior costotransverse ligament (retro-SCTL) space - the medial retro-SCTL space block.

Methods: Ten healthy volunteers received a single-injection ultrasound-guided medial retro-SCTL space block at the T4-T5 level using a mixture of 10 ml 0.5 % bupivacaine with 0.
