Two-dimensional solid-state X-ray detectors can now operate at considerable data throughput rates that allow full three-dimensional sampling of scattering data from extended volumes of reciprocal space within second to minute time-scales. For such experiments, simultaneous analysis and visualization allows for remeasurements and a more dynamic measurement strategy. A new software, , is presented. It efficiently reconstructs X-ray scattering data, generates three-dimensional reciprocal space data sets that can be visualized interactively, and aims to enable real-time processing in high-throughput measurements by employing parallel computing on commodity hardware.

A method to determine electron temperature within a plasma by the spectral analysis of atomic tungsten emission has been explored. The technique was applied to a post-discharge region immediately following a high voltage nanosecond pulsed discharge in air with tungsten electrodes. Atomic tungsten lines are readily observed in the weak emission spectrum within the post-discharge region for many microseconds.

Ultrasonic sensors based on backscattering principles have been developed for various applications involving arbitrary or random scatterer distributions. Although the theory of multiple scattering of waves is well-established, it has not been thoroughly explored in these applications. This work presents a feasible and simplified three-dimensional scattering model to predict the transient response generated by a set of rods positioned in the near field of a 1 MHz water-coupled ultrasonic transducer.

Incorporating nanomaterials into hydrogels allows for the creation of versatile materials with properties that can be precisely tailored by manipulating their nanoscale structures, leading to a wide range of bulk properties. Investigating the structural and property characteristics of composite hydrogels is crucial in tailoring their performance for specific applications. This study focuses on investigating the correlation between the structural arrangement and properties of a composite hydrogel of thermoresponsive polymer, gelatin, and light-responsive antimicrobial porous gold nanorods (PAuNRs).

We present a comprehensive dataset comprising head- and eye-centred video recordings from human participants performing a search task in a variety of Virtual Reality (VR) environments. Using a VR motion platform, participants navigated these environments freely while their eye movements and positional data were captured and stored in CSV format. The dataset spans six distinct environments, including one specifically for calibrating the motion platform, and provides a cumulative playtime of over 10 h for both head- and eye-centred perspectives.

Understanding and controlling the morphology of microgels is crucial for optimizing their properties and functions in diverse areas of application. The fabrication of microgels that exhibit both structural and chemical anisotropy using a template-free approach faces significant challenges. Existing approaches toward such microgels are typically limited to templating methods with low throughput.
