Whether early life acetaminophen (APAP) exposures injure the developing lung is controversial. We sought to correlate murine pulmonary developmental expression profiles of to susceptibility to APAP exposure. P14 C57BL/6 mice were exposed to APAP (140 mg/kg x 1, IP) and assessed for evidence of a histologic, metabolic, functional, and/or transcriptional pulmonary response.

Background: Acetaminophen serves as a standard antipyretic and analgesic agent in the intensive care unit (ICU). However, the association between its administration and acute kidney injury (AKI) among critically ill patients remains controversial, particularly lacking research in patients with Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI). Our aim was to explore the potential relationship between early acetaminophen administration and AKI in critically ill patients with concurrent CDI.

Background: Ketorolac is widely utilized for postoperative pain management, including back pain after lumbar spinal surgery. Several trials have assessed the efficacy of Ketorolac alone and in combination with other analgesics such as bupivacaine, morphine, epinephrine, paracetamol, and pregabalin. However, the effects and safety profile of ketorolac in these contexts remain controversial.
