By prescribing asymmetric ligaments with different arrangements in elastomeric porous membranes of pre-twisted kagome lattices, the buckling instability is avoided, allowing for smooth and homogenous structural reconfiguration in a deterministic fashion. The stress-strain behaviors and negative Poisson's ratios can be tuned by the pre-twisting angles.

To solve the problems of insufficient stiffness and poor integrity of traditional F-type socket joints, steel screw connections are set along the longitudinal direction between rectangular pipe jacking joints. However, the mechanical properties of F-type socket joints with steel screw connections have not been fully investigated, and the influence of the coefficient of subgrade reaction has not been considered. In this work, through model tests and numerical simulations of F-type socket joints with steel screws under different coefficients of subgrade reaction, the influence of steel screws on the deformation and damage characteristics of F-type socket joints is discussed, and the bending mechanical response of F-type socket joints under different coefficients of subgrade reaction is analyzed.

In Song dynasty, Dou-Gong construction techniques, Tou-Xin-Zao and Ji-Xin-Zao, varied by the number of Fang connecting to the exterior. This study examines the impact of Fang connections on the mechanical characteristics of Dou-Gong. Six full-scale models were constructed and subjected to quasi-static loading tests in the horizontal Beam and Fang directions under vertical load.

Chronic stress can adversely affect the female reproductive endocrine system, potentially leading to disorders and impairments in ovarian function. However, current research lacks comprehensive understanding regarding the biochemical characteristics and underlying mechanisms of ovarian damage induced by chronic stress. We established a stable chronic unpredictable stress (CUS)-induced diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) animal model.

The eruption in Fagradalsfjall Volcano, located in Reykjanes Peninsula, Iceland, from several centuries' dormant states, occurred for the first time on March 19, 2021. Observations of Fagradalsfjall Volcano were conducted in 2021, and the eruption period lasted for six months until 18 September 2021. Six days pair of interferograms were generated from ninety synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data.

The diagnosis and analysis of major depressive disorder (MDD) faces some intractable challenges such as dataset limitations and clinical variability. Resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (Rs-fMRI) can reflect the fluctuation data of brain activity in a resting state, which can find the interrelationships, functional connections, and network characteristics among brain regions of the patients. In this paper, a brain functional connectivity matrix is constructed using Pearson correlation based on the characteristics of multi-site Rs-fMRI data and brain atlas, and an adaptive propagation operator graph convolutional network (APO-GCN) model is designed.
