There is an unmet medical need for the early detection of immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI)-induced cardiovascular (CV) adverse events due to a lack of adequate biomarkers. This study aimed to provide insights on the incidence of troponin elevations and echocardiographic dynamics during ICI treatment in cancer patients and their role as potential biomarkers for submyocardial damage. In addition, it is the first study to compare hs-TnT and hs-TnI in ICI-treated patients and to evaluate their interchangeability in the context of screening.

- Diagnostic ureteroscopy (dURS) is a valuable optional procedure for assessing patients with upper tract urothelial carcinoma (UTUC), particularly for obtaining tissue samples for histology.
- Data from the CROES-UTUC registry, analyzing 2380 patients, showed that dURS with biopsy was performed in 31.6% of cases, yielding adequate samples for diagnosis in 83.5% of situations, although about one-third of patients were under-staged.
- High-grade biopsies effectively predicted high-grade and high-risk diseases with high accuracy, but low-grade tumors showed a significant number of patients with undetected high-risk disease, indicating a need for better diagnostic methods.

Tropical raptors are of particular concern, being relatively slow-breeding apex predators and scavengers, whose disappearance can trigger extensive cascading effects. Many of Africa's raptors are at considerable risk from habitat conversion, prey-base depletion and persecution, driven principally by human population expansion.
