Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of retroperitoneal organ displacement for image-guided percutaneous biopsy.

Conclusion: Organ displacement using 0.9% saline or 5% dextrose in water (D5W) can create safe access routes for targeted abdominal and pelvic biopsies.
