Despite advancements in surgical techniques for rotator cuff repair, retear rates remain a significant concern. This study systematically reviews the evidence on the effectiveness of the Regeneten Bioinductive Implant in improving healing outcomes. A systematic review of the literature was conducted by searching on PubMed, Embase, Web of Science Core Collection and Cochrane Library.

Cannabidiol (CBD), the primary non-intoxicating compound in cannabis, is currently approved for treating rare, treatment-resistant seizures. Recent preclinical research suggests that CBD's multifaceted mechanisms of action in the brain, which involve multiple molecular targets, underlie its neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory, anxiolytic, and antipsychotic effects. Clinical trials are also exploring CBD's therapeutic potential beyond its current uses.

Background: While antimicrobial use (AMU) in human healthcare has received significant attention as a key driver of antimicrobial resistance (AMR), less emphasis has been placed on AMU practices and attitudes in animal husbandry. To address this gap, this study examines the patterns and underlying drivers of AMU on animal farms.
Methods: A survey instrument was distributed to farm staff in 150 animal farms across 15 Egyptian governorates.

Breast ultrasound has been established for many years as an important method in addition to mammography for clarifying breast findings. The goal of the Best Practice Guidelines Part III of the DEGUM breast ultrasound working group is to provide colleagues working in senology with information regarding the specific medical indications for breast ultrasound in addition to the current ultrasound criteria and assessment categories published in part I and the additional and optional sonographic diagnostic methods described in part II. The value of breast ultrasound for specific indications including follow-up, evaluation of breast implants, diagnostic workup of dense breast tissue, diagnostic workup during pregnancy and lactation, and the diagnostic workup of breast findings in men is discussed.
