Issue Addressed: Food system sustainability is a broad goal, contributing to resilience, positive health, equity, cultural, environmental and economic outcomes. This study aims to understand the essential components on the journey towards "sustainable food systems" in New Zealand's, Hawke's Bay (HB) region.
Methods: Seventeen qualitative semi-structured interviews were conducted to identify barriers, facilitators and potential interventions for improving a sustainable food system.

Objectives: In China, depressive disorder (DD) among middle-aged and older adults is a significant public health concern. This research utilized the latest Global Burden of Disease Study (GBD) database to evaluate the evolving disease burden of DD in this demographic over the past 3 decades.
Methods: Data on the incidence and disability-adjusted life years (DALY) of DD among people aged 45-89 in China between 1992 and 2021 were collected from the GBD 2021.

Objective: To investigate whether the introduction of healthy vending machines on a university campus could increase the proportion of healthy food and beverage purchases.
Design: Four new healthy vending machines offering a wider range of healthier food and beverages were installed alongside existing machines. These new machines used traffic light colours to indicate nutritional value.
Understanding human anatomy is crucial for improving public health outcomes; however, effective methods of engaging the public in this domain remain underexplored. This report investigates four hands-on, creative, and accessible methods for enhancing anatomical knowledge during public engagement events: drawing, clay modeling, needle felting, and baking. Drawing on the principles of the Portal to Public Framework and adult learning theory, we explore how each method offers ethical and inexpensive opportunities for interactive learning, devoid of complex health, and safety and ethical concerns.
