Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the group at highest risk for autoimmune inflammation through a comparative analysis among patients with chronic post-traumatic uveitis (CPTU).
Material And Methods: The clinical group included 50 patients (aged 18 to 87 years, mean age 41±2.6 years) with CPTU resulting from penetrating injury, contusion, or intraocular surgery.

Background/aim: Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphomas occur in not only the ocular adnexa, but rarely in the sclera or uvea. Histopathological confirmation contributes to a better understanding of the pathogenesis and treatment. We report a case of uveoscleral MALT lymphoma with angle-closure glaucoma.

The author describes the position of the tube as the origin of the anterior chamber inflammation and hyphema, which resolved shortly after shortening and relocating it. This publication emphasizes the importance of precise implant positioning and close-up patient follow-up after glaucoma filtration surgery as an important standard for healthcare providers.
