Background: Hemorrhagic transformation (HT) is a complication of reperfusion therapy following acute ischemic stroke (AIS). We aimed to develop and validate a model for predicting HT and its subtypes with poor prognosis-parenchymal hemorrhage (PH), including PH-1 (hematoma within infarcted tissue, occupying < 30%) and PH-2 (hematoma occupying ≥ 30% of the infarcted tissue)-in AIS patients following intravenous thrombolysis (IVT) based on noncontrast computed tomography (NCCT) and clinical data.

Methods: In this six-center retrospective study, clinical and imaging data from 445 consecutive IVT-treated AIS patients were collected (01/2018-06/2023).

Methods: Thirty patients, comprising 13 with iliac grafts and 17 without, were enrolled in the study.

Background Large-scale secondary use of clinical databases requires automated tools for retrospective extraction of structured content from free-text radiology reports. Purpose To share data and insights on the application of privacy-preserving open-weights large language models (LLMs) for reporting content extraction with comparison to standard rule-based systems and the closed-weights LLMs from OpenAI. Materials and Methods In this retrospective exploratory study conducted between May 2024 and September 2024, zero-shot prompting of 17 open-weights LLMs was preformed.

Purpose: It was noticed that anterior choroidal artery (AChoA) aneurysms appear to rupture at relatively smaller sizes compared with aneurysms in other intracranial locations, based on anecdotal clinical experience. We therefore aimed to compare ruptured AChoA aneurysms with other ruptured aneurysms in other intracranial locations, pertaining to aneurysm dimensions. This may help in finding out if the rupture risk stratification, based on the amalgamation of aneurysms of multiple locations in one group, precisely estimates aneurysm rupture risk.
