Concerning many former liquid or hybrid liquid/solid NMR consoles, the built in Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs) are incapable of digitizing the fids at sampling rates in the MHz range. Regarding both strong anisotropic interactions in the solid state and wide chemical shift dispersion nuclei in solution phase such as (195)Pt, (119)Sn, (207)Pb etc., the spectrum range of interest might be in the MHz range. As determining the informative tensor components of anisotropic NMR interactions requires nonlinear fitting over the whole spectrum including the asymptotic baseline, it is prohibited by low sampling rates of the ADCs. Wide spectrum width is also useful in solution NMR, since windowing of wide chemical shift ranges is avoidable. We built an external analog to digital converter with 10 MHz maximal sampling rate, which can work simultaneously with the built in ADC of the spectrometer. The ADC was tested on both Bruker DRX and Avance-I NMR consoles. In addition to the analog channels it only requires three external digital lines of the NMR console. The ADC sends data to PC via USB. The whole process is controlled by software written in JAVA which is implemented under TopSpin.

Purpose: To determine the performance of TOTAL30 for Astigmatism (T30fA; Alcon; Fort Worth, TX, USA) contact lenses (CLs) in existing CL wearers who are also frequent digital device users.
Methods: This 1-month, 3-visit study recruited adult, 18- to 40-year-old subjects who were required to use daily digital devices for at least 8 hours per day. All subjects were refit into T30fA CLs.

In this research article, we survey existing quantum physics-related games and, based on this survey, propose a definition for the concept of quantum games. We define a quantum game as any type of rule-based game that either employs the principles of quantum physics or references quantum phenomena or the theory of quantum physics through any of three proposed dimensions: the perceivable dimension of quantum physics, the dimension of quantum technologies, and the dimension of scientific purposes, such as citizen science or education. We also discuss the concept of quantum computer games, which are games on quantum computers, as well as definitions for the concept of science games.

This retrospective multicenter study investigated the biodistribution of Fluorodeoxyglucose (F-FDG) in the positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) in digital PET/CT (dPET) compared to analog PET/CT (aPET), focusing differences in physiological uptake in reference and small structures across various scanner models. One hundred thirty patients with similar preimaging conditions underwent both dPET and aPET imaging within 6 months. Visual evaluations and paired comparative analyses of semiquantitative parameters were performed for small and reference structures.

Background: Action mechanisms of therapeutic alliance in stepped and digital interventions remain unclear.
Aims: (a) To compare the development of therapeutic alliance between psychosocial treatment as usual (PTAU) and a stepped digital intervention designed to prevent distress in cancer patients; (b) to analyse the level of agreement between patients' and therapists' therapeutic alliance ratings; and (c) to explore variables associated with therapeutic alliance in the digital intervention.
Method: A multicentre randomised controlled trial with 184 newly diagnosed breast cancer women was conducted.

Digital workflows have revolutionized dentistry, especially when it comes to fabrication of complete dentures through Computer-Aided Design and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAD-CAM) procedures. Digital articulators manage to simulate mandibular movements and are emerging as alternatives to mechanical articulators like the Gerber semi-adjustable model. Despite being a promising tool, digital articulators require refinement in order to grant consistent functionality and effective occlusal balance.
