Impairment of insight is considered as the hallmark of schizophrenia. Substantial proportion of patients with schizophrenia has either poor or absent insight. Insight is a multidimensional and dynamic construct which appears to have intricate links with other symptom dimensions of the psychotic illness. A better appreciation of the association that insight shares with other symptom clusters in psychosis could help us in gaining knowledge about aetiology, prognosis and treatment-related facets of the disorder. This is likely to have critical implications in the understanding and therapeutics of schizophrenia.

Mixing different metal ions at the B site of ABX perovskites offers a promising approach for addressing challenges related to toxicity, stability and performance in optoelectronic applications. One such example is CsPbSnBr which addresses the toxicity issue posed by lead while allowing us to tune optoelectronic properties such as the band gap. An original approach to characterize electrochemical interfaces at the atomic level, a challenging topic toward the understanding of electrochemical reactivity, is reported. We employed surface resonant X-ray diffraction experiments combined with their simulation using first-principle density functional theory calculations and were thus able to determine the molecular and electronic structures of the partially ionic layer facing the electrode surface, as well as the charge distribution in the surface metal layers. Pt(111) in an acidic medium at an applied potential excluding specific adsorption was studied.
