We present a case of a 40-year-old woman with a fundus image similar to frosted retinal angiitis after undergoing pars plana vitrectomy and intravitreal triamcinolone injection. The patient with diabetic retinopathy was referred to our hospital with vision loss in her right eye secondary to vitreous haemorrhage. After pars plana vitrectomy and injection of triamcinolone acetonide a funduscopy examination revealed deposits of triamcinolone along the retinal vessels simulating a frosted retinal angiitis. Triamcinolone deposits along blood vessels could be the result of the reabsorption process of these crystals by the perivascular macrophages. Further studies are needed.

To examine the trends and outcomes in the management of Coats disease and evaluate the effects of a staged therapeutic approach using transpupillary laser vascular ablation, intravitreal (IVT) bevacizumab, and adjunct as-needed posterior sub-Tenon triamcinolone acetonide (used only in cases with a persistent active exudation) on globe retention, anatomic status, and visual acuity (VA). An evaluation was performed from 2005 to 2023. Previous case series published in the literature were reviewed.

Currently, generalized therapy for traumatic optic neuropathy (TON) is lacking. Various strategies have been developed to protect and regenerate retinal ganglion cells (RGCs) after TON. Intravitreal injection of supplements has been approved as a promising approach, although serious concerns, such as low delivery efficacy and pain due to frequent injections, remain.

Background: Several studies have investigated the efficacy and safety of Conbercept versus Triamcinolone acetonide for the treatment of wet age-related macular degeneration (wAMD), but the results are controversial. Therefore, this meta-analysis aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Conbercept versus Triamcinolone acetonide for the treatment of wAMD.
Methods: A total of seven databases were searched for literature on the treatment of wAMD with Conbercept, with the search period from database inception to May 2024.
