Purpose: To report a case of corneoscleral juvenile xanthogranuloma (JXG) with progressive anterior segment involvement refractory to topical steroids.

Purpose: To assess the risk of renal adverse events, particularly acute kidney injury (AKI), between intravitreal anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (anti-VEGF) agents.
Design: Meta-analysis.
Methods: A systematic literature search was conducted on Ovid Medline, Embase and the Cochrane Library for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) published from January 2005 to February 2024 involving adult patients receiving anti-VEGF intravitreal injections for agerelated macular degeneration, diabetic macular edema, and macular edema secondary to retinal vein occlusion.

Liver transplantation (LT) is a curative strategy for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), but the risk of HCC recurrence remains a challenging problem. In patients with HCC recurrence after LT (HCC-R_LT), the locoregional and surgical approaches are complex, and the guidelines do not report evidence-based strategies for the management of immunosuppression. In recent years, immunotherapy has become an effective option for patients with advanced HCC in pre-transplant settings.

Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have been approved for treating various cancers; however, they can cause immune-related adverse events. Generally, ICIs are not associated with an increased risk of infection, however, several reports demonstrated infections caused by non-tuberculous mycobacterium (NTM) during ICI therapy. Here, we report a case of NTM shoulder arthritis with acute exacerbation immediately after ICI initiation.

Introduction: Intravitreal injections of anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (anti-VEGF) agents are a primary management option for retinal diseases. Acute elevation of intraocular pressure (IOP) is a complication associated with these injections that should be considered. This study investigated and compared the prophylactic effects of fixed combination anti-glaucoma medication on IOP spikes following intravitreal anti-VEGF injections.
