Purpose: To evaluate the dynamics between capsular bags and different intraocular lens (IOL) models in human cadaver eyes using the Miyake-Apple posterior view technique.

Methods: In an in vitro laboratory study, human cadaver eyes were prepared according to the Miyake-Apple posterior view technique. Five IOLs from each of the six groups (Avansee 1P [Simonvision], Avansee 3P [Simonvision], CT Lucia [Carl Zeiss Meditec], Acrysof [Alcon Laboratories, Inc], RayOne [Rayner], and CT Asphina [Carl Zeiss Meditec]) were implanted into capsular bags with different diameters.
