Background: Māori (the Indigenous people of Aotearoa New Zealand) report higher rates of eating disorders than non-Māori, but access treatment at lower rates. Diagnostic terms lacking in cultural relevance likely contribute to Māori exclusion in eating disorder spaces. Developing terms in te reo Māori (the Māori language) presents an opportunity to challenge eating disorder stereotypes and increase cultural safety in the eating disorder workforce.

Background: Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have revolutionized the management of cancer patients, but the emergence of ICI-related endocrinopathies (IREs) has introduced new clinical challenges. Despite worldwide recognition of these adverse effects, data from the Middle East is scarce.
Methods: This retrospective-observational study included adult cancer patients who received at least one dose of ICI between January 2015 and January 2023.

Aim: The purpose of the study was to describe patient characteristics and trends after implementation of a hospital-wide standardized child maltreatment protocol including forensic examiners in child maltreatment cases.

Method: Data were collected from a group of 228 patients using the Health Perception Scale, the Metabolic Syndrome Assessment Form and the American Diabetes Association Diabetes Risk Test.
