Residual dipolar couplings, chemical shift anisotropies and quadrupolar couplings provide information about the orientation of inter-spin vectors and the anisotropic contribution of the local environment to the chemical shifts of nuclei, respectively. Structural interpretation of these observables requires parameterization of their angular dependence in terms of an alignment tensor. We compare and evaluate two algorithms for generating the optimal alignment tensor for a given molecular structure and set of experimental data, namely SVD (Losonczi et al. in J Magn Reson 138(2):334-342, 1999), which scales as [Formula: see text], and the linear least squares algorithm (Press et al. in Numerical recipes in C. The art of scientific computing, 2nd edn. Cambridge University Press, Cambridge, 1997), which scales as [Formula: see text].

Background And Purpose: Diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) has been proposed to guide the anisotropic expansion from gross tumor volume to clinical target volume (CTV), aiming to integrate known tumor spread patterns into the CTV. This study investigate the potential of using a DTI atlas as an alternative to patient-specific DTI for generating anisotropic CTVs.
Materials And Methods: The dataset consisted of twenty-eight newly diagnosed glioblastoma patients from a Danish national DTI protocol with post-operative T1-contrast and DTI imaging.

: Augmented reality (AR) may allow vitreoretinal surgeons to leverage microscope-integrated digital imaging systems to analyze and highlight key retinal anatomic features in real time, possibly improving safety and precision during surgery. By employing convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for retina vessel segmentation, a retinal coordinate system can be created that allows pre-operative images of capillary non-perfusion or retinal breaks to be digitally aligned and overlayed upon the surgical field in real time. Such technology may be useful in assuring thorough laser treatment of capillary non-perfusion or in using pre-operative optical coherence tomography (OCT) to guide macular surgery when microscope-integrated OCT (MIOCT) is not available.

Understanding energy transport in semiconductors is critical for the design of electronic and optoelectronic devices. Semiconductor material properties, such as charge carrier mobility or diffusion length, are commonly measured in bulk crystals and determined using models that describe transport behavior in homogeneous media, where structural boundary effects are minimal. However, most emerging semiconductors exhibit nano- and microscale heterogeneity.

Purpose: Gap-balanced total knee arthroplasty (TKA) technique relies on initial ligament evaluation, particularly in patient-specific implantation using computer-assisted technologies. This cadaveric study aimed to compare the reproducibility and reliability of medial and lateral gap measurements between manual stress testing and dynamic ligament balancer.
Methods: Initial gap acquisitions were assessed from eight cadaveric knees (four specimens) during the same navigated TKA procedure by five differently skilled surgeons (three seniors and two juniors).

Purpose Of Review: To evaluate the available studies on structural magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of post-traumatic headache (PTH).
Recent Findings: A systematic search of PubMed and Embase databases (from inception to February 1, 2024) identified nine relevant structural MRI studies. These studies included adult participants diagnosed with acute or persistent PTH in adherence with any edition of the International Classification of Headache Disorders.
