Treatment switching is common in randomised controlled trials (RCTs). Participants may switch onto a variety of different treatments, all of which may have different treatment effects. Adjustment analyses that target hypothetical estimands - estimating outcomes that would have been observed in the absence of treatment switching - have focused primarily on a single type of switch.

Metal halide perovskites (MHPs) have emerged as the most promising materials due to superior optoelectronic properties and great applications spanning from photovoltaics to photonics. Absorption spectroscopy provides a broad and deep insight into the carrier dynamics of MHPs, and is a critical complement to fluorescence and scattering spectroscopy. However, absorption spectroscopy is often misunderstood or underestimated, being seen as UV-vis spectroscopy only, which can lead to various misinterpretations.

Background: This study aimed to clarify the appropriate timing for epinephrine administration in adults with out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA), particularly those cases with nonshockable rhythms, by addressing resuscitation time bias.
Methods: We performed a retrospective observational study utilizing a multicenter OHCA registry involving 95 hospitals in Japan between June 2014 and December 2020. We included patients with OHCA and nonshockable rhythms who received epinephrine during resuscitation.
Introduction: Although both patients with kidney failure (KF) receiving hemodialysis (HD) and kidney transplant (KT) recipients (KTRs) have a high risk of bladder cancer, how this risk changes in the transition from dialysis to KT is unknown. In this study, we aimed to investigate the risk of bladder cancer in KTRs and patients on HD.
Methods: This was a nationwide longitudinal cohort study of 66,547 participants from the National Health Insurance Service cohort who started HD for KF or received KT from 2002 to 2020.

Selecting the optimal dose of psilocybin for treating Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and Treatment-Resistant Depression (TRD) is crucial for clinical development and regulatory approval. This meta-analysis evaluates psilocybin's efficacy and safety in treating MDD to determine the optimal dose and timing for clinical trials. A systematic review and Dose-Response Network Meta-Analysis (NMA) of Randomized Placebo-Controlled Clinical Trials (RCTs) registered with PROSPERO was conducted.
