A new one-pot, three component reaction involving the use of Julia reagent, aldehyde, and sodium azide was developed for the efficient synthesis of N-unsubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles. This reaction could be carried out under mild reaction conditions without any precaution, and broad scope of substrates, both respect to Julia reagents and aldehydes, could be applied in this reaction system in generation of a small library of title compounds.

The review is devoted to the use of a new class of radiopharmaceuticals (RPs) - chemokine receptor ligands - in oncological practice. The chemokine receptor CXCR4 is of particular interest as a molecular target in the diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumors, as it plays an important role in carcinogenesis. By interacting with the chemokine CCXL12, it activates cell signaling pathways that affect tumor cell proliferation, angiogenesis, metastasis growth, and apoptosis inhibition.

Sulfenyl fluorides are organic compounds of sulfur in formal oxidation state +2 with the formula R-S-F. Although the chloride, bromide, and iodide analogues have been extensively described in the literature, arenesulfenyl fluorides remain essentially unstudied. These structures have been implicated as putative intermediates in established processes to access polyfluorinated sulfur species; however, definitive and direct evidence of their existence has not been obtained, nor has a systematic understanding of their reactivity.

The unique electronic and steric parameters of chiral cyclic alkyl amino carbene (CAAC) ligands render them appealing steering ligands for enantioselective transition-metal catalyzed transformations. Due to the lack of efficient synthetic strategies to access particularly attractive α-chiral CAACs assessment and exploitation of their full synthetic potential remain difficult. Herein, we report a streamlined strategy to assemble a library of diastereo- and enantiomerically pure CAAC ligands featuring the notoriously difficult to access α-quaternary stereogenic centers.

Rh-catalyzed asymmetric hydroboration of enol carbamates yields α-boryl carbamates in good enantioselectivity. The enol carbamate starting materials can be prepared with moderate selectivity using a modified Juila olefination and used as an mixture, taking advantage of the faster reactivity of the major isomer in the directed hydroboration. Optically active α-boryl carbamates participate in a Matteson-type homologation with Grignard reagents in which the O-carbamate is substituted with high conservation of optical activity to provide enantioenriched secondary boronic esters.
