Objective: The aim of this study is to present our clinical experience with rhomboid flaps.
Materials And Methods: Twenty-four patients who were operated on between January 2006 and October 2010 were included in the study. All defects were reconstructed using rhomboid flaps.
Results: Twenty-four patients were operated on for various reasons, and 26 rhomboid flaps were performed. Eleven of the 24 cases were male, and the median age of participants was 47.5 years. Eight cases were operated on under general anesthesia, and 13 were locally anesthetized; the remaining cases were operated on under regional anesthesia. In 17 cases, the defect was due to a benign or malignant tumor excision, and five cases were operated on due to burn contracture. There were no occurrences of partial or total flap necrosis or hematoma in our series.
Conclusion: Our series indicates that rhomboid flaps can be safely used to reconstruct small to moderately sized skin defects.

Objective: Limberg flap, is a rotational rhomboid flap. A procedure done for people who have either complex or recurrent pilonidal disease. This study has been performed to determine effects of the Limberg flap for sacrococcygeal pilonidal sinus, regarding the wound infection rate, seroma formation, postoperative pain relief, recurrence rates, return to work, its cosmetic final result and patients' satisfaction.

Keratinocyte carcinomas (KCs) are commonly located on the scalp and often treated with excision with peripheral and deep en face margin assessment (PDEMA), with Mohs micrographic surgery (MMS) being the most frequently used method. Resection of these malignancies results in wounds with a wide variety of sizes, ranging from small, sub-centimeter defects, to extensive, nearly complete scalp defects. MMS is often the preferred treatment for tumor resection and margin clearance, as it allows for maximal healthy tissue preservation and has the lowest recurrence rates.

Lipomas are the most prevalent benign soft-tissue tumours, however, pedunculated fibrolipoma in the buttock is rare. Here, the case of a Chinese male patient in his early 70s with a 50-year history of a growing pedunculated fibrolipoma on his right buttock is presented. The attending physician and the registered nurse collaborated on a treatment plan, leading to a successful resection with rhomboid flap transfer.
