Objective: To investigate the correlation between endometriosis (EMs) severity and placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) risk in the subsequent pregnancy.
Method: Clinical records of 2,142 patients who underwent laparoscopic surgery for EMs at Fujian Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2014 to January 2018, who had achieved pregnancy and were delivered, were analyzed. Baseline data, EMs stage, The Revised American Fertility Society (R-AFS) score, levels of serum indexes, and pregnancy and neonatal outcomes were recorded.

Background: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) often presents with neuropsychiatric (NP) involvement, including cognitive impairment and depression. Past magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) research in SLE patients showed smaller hippocampal volumes but did not investigate other medial temporal lobe (MTL) regions. Our study aims to compare MTL subregional volumes in SLE patients to healthy individuals (HI) and explore MTL subregional volumes in relation to neuropsychiatric SLE (NPSLE) manifestations.

Research suggests that folic acid contributes to improving cognitive function. However, there is a lack of systematic research on the association of dietary intake of folate and serum, and red blood cell (RBC) folate levels with global cognitive impairment (CoI) in the elderly population. Importantly, excessive supplementation with folate among American adults at high risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) may have harmful effects.

These devices often incorporate porous cones to fill bone defects and enhance long-term fixation. This study provides comprehensive overview of the current level, sources and human exposure risk to hazardous polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in South American outdoor air. Research documents were obtainable for only 6 countries within the target period (2014 - 2024). For all contaminants, urban concentrations exceeded that of rural/remote locations.
