Unlabelled: Abstract Background: Little is known about which diversity characteristics if any, impact on nursing students' clinical placements or how these may affect the quality of their learning experiences. There is therefore a need to better understand these effects not only from the student's perspective but also from the perspective of the staff who supervise them, in order to ensure students obtain maximal benefit from their placements.
Aim: To describe the clinical experiences of nursing students and the diversity characteristics that affect this learning experience.
Methods: Data were collected from a series of open-ended questions embedded within a larger anonymous web-based survey, from August 2011 to March 2012. Participants included first, second and third year undergraduate Bachelor of Nursing students (N = 704) and faculty members involved in the clinical learning environment (N = 165) from seven Australian universities.
Findings: Qualitative findings were clustered into three main themes: differences, difficulty and discrimination, each with three sub-themes.
Conclusion: FINDINGS suggest a need to offer appropriate support for nursing students who feel different because of diversity characteristics. Whilst some of the participant perceptions are confronting they provide valuable insights for universities developing curricula and the clinical placement facilities where students obtain their experience.

Endophytic fungi associated with four plant species in Korea were isolated and characterized using morphological and molecular analyses. Phylogenetic analyses of the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region, β-tubulin (TUB) gene, and translation elongation factor 1-α (EF1-α) gene revealed four previously unrecorded species of in Korea: , , , and . Detailed descriptions of colony morphology and conidial characteristics are provided for each species.

A survey of fungal diversity in soil and freshwater habitats in Korea isolated several species of the class . Morphological characteristics and multigene phylogenetic analyses showed that these species represented new records for Korea. Herein, we report the descriptions, illustrations, and molecular phylogeny of 19 species previously undescribed in Korea, including , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , and

However, the mechanisms underlying the influence of fertilizer application on weathering remain poorly understood, especially with respect to bacterial intervention.
Methods: In this study, purple parent rocks from Shaximiao Group (Js) and Penglaizhen Group (Jp) were selected to investigate the effects of fertilizer application on the bacterial community and weathering characteristics of these rock by leaching experiment.

species complex has been regarded as the most destructive disease agent of conifer trees in boreal forests. Tree microbiome can regulate the plant-pathogen interactions by influencing both host resistance and pathogen virulence. Such information would help to improve the future health of forests and explore strategies to enhance ecosystem stability.
