Unlabelled: We report a 28-year follow-up of epikeratophakia surgery after extracapsular extraction of a congenital cataract. The patient's ocular history included the diagnosis of bilateral cortical congenital cataracts at 2 years of age, which was more severe in the right eye than in the left. One year later, the visual acuity in the right eye progressively worsened, and extracapsular cataract extraction without intraocular lens implantation was performed. After contact lens fitting failed, an epikeratophakia procedure was performed in the right eye. Twenty-eight years after the procedure, the patient was referred to Bascom Palmer Eye Institute for progressive loss of visual acuity in the left eye. It was discovered that the right eye had remained stable; the corrected distance visual acuity was 20/30 with a manifest refraction of -8.75 + 0.50 × 105.

Aims: This study aimed to determine the effect of vaporized cannabidiol (CBD) on visual function and vehicle driving performance, given the growing popularity of CBD use worldwide.
Design: Randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled cross-over experimental study.
Setting: Laboratory of Vision Sciences and Applications, University of Granada, Spain.

A five-year-old female came with a history of frequent rubbing of the right eye and noticed prolonged elevation of her head since birth, informed by her mother. On ocular examination, the best corrected visual acuity shown in the right eye was 1/60, and the left eye was 6/6, with proptosis in both eyes. Fundus examination showed both eyes having pale discs.

The only way to mitigate the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic was vaccines. While effective in decreasing the rate and severity of the disease, there also have been considerable adverse events. Since the birth of vaccines, adverse reactions accompanied the immunity, and COVID-19 vaccines are no exceptions.

Introduction: Choroidal metastases from systemic malignancies are the most common intraocular malignancies in adults. External beam radiation (EBR) has historically been first-line therapy for metastatic tumors to the choroid. However, good responses have been described with newer targeted biologics.

Purpose: To evaluate clinical outcomes obtained after cataract surgery involving the implantation of a trifocal hydrophobic intraocular lens (IOL) and to determine if pupil size and the corneal aberrometric profile correlate to visual acuity at different distances.
Methods: 49 patients (98 eyes) underwent bilateral cataract surgery with the placement of FineVision HP IOLs for presbyopia and were assessed at 1- and 3- to 6-months post-surgery. Postoperatively, refraction, monocular and binocular uncorrected and corrected distance visual acuity (UDVA and CDVA), uncorrected intermediate visual acuity (UIVA), uncorrected near visual acuity (UNVA) and the binocular defocus curve were measured.
