We correct fit formulas from a previous paper [Opt. Lett.39, 3242 (2014)10.1364/OL39.005896OPLEDP0146-9592] for the coefficient of thermal expansion α(T).

We report the synthesis and characterization of a series of high- and low-spin dicobalt complexes of the PNNP expanded pincer ligand. Reacting this dinucleating ligand in its neutral form with two equiv of CoCl(tetrahydrofuran) yields a high-spin dicobalt complex featuring one Co inside and one Co outside of the dinucleating pocket. Performing the same reaction in the presence of two equivalents of KOtBu provides access to a high-spin dicobalt complex wherein both Co centers are bound within the PNNP pocket, and this complex also features a bridging OtBu ligand.

We report the synthesis and characterization of new, user-friendly gold(I) [Au(μ-(NH)CCF)] coordination polymer and [AuCl(NH(NH=)CCF)] complex. These compounds were investigated for potential application as precursors in chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and focused electron/ion beam-induced deposition (FEBID/FIBID), which are additive methods to produce nanomaterials. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, and infrared spectroscopy were used to determine the complexes' composition and structure.

Microtextured microneedles are tiny needle-like structures with micron-scale microtextures, and the drugs stored in the microtextures can be released after entering the skin to achieve the effect of precise drug delivery. In this study, the skin substitution model of Ogden's hyperelastic model and the microneedle array and microtexture models with different geometrical parameters were selected to simulate and analyse the flow of the microtexture microneedle arrays penetrating the skin by the finite-element method, and the length of the microneedles was determined to be 200 μm, the width 160 μm, and the value of the gaps was determined to be 420 μm. A four-pronged cone was chosen as the shape of microneedles, and a rectangle was chosen as the shape of the drug-carrying microneedle.

The demand for the three-dimensional (3D) integration of electronic components is steadily increasing. Despite substantial processing challenges, the through-silicon-via (TSV) technique emerges as the only viable method for integrating single-crystalline device components in a 3D format. Although monolithic 3D (M3D) integration schemes show promise, the seamless connection of single-crystalline semiconductors without intervening wafers has yet to be demonstrated.

This paper presents a comprehensive optimization of an outer frame anchor disk resonator gyroscope (DRG) with enhanced resistance to vibration and shock, achieved by increasing the resonant frequency of the tub and translation modes. Furthermore, the wineglass mode retains a high quality factor, enhancing sensitivity and reducing the angle random walk (ARW). The performance of the proposed DRG is analyzed using dynamic equations, and its structural parameters are optimized through finite element analysis (FEA).
