Objective: To compare the clinical efficacy differences between medicinal vesiculation combined with quick cupping at Shenque (CV 8) and regular medication for allergic rhinitis with syndrome of yang deficiency.

Methods: Eighty-two cases were randomly divided into an observation group (42 cases) and a control group (40 cases). The observation group was treated with medicinal vesiculation combined with quick cupping at Shenque (CV 8). The medicinal vesiculation was applied at Feishu (BL 13), Gaohuang (BL 43), Fengmen (BL 12), Mingmen (GV 4) on the dog days in the summer, one treatment on the 1st dog-day, 2nd dog-day and last dog-day respectively with an interval of 10 days between two treatments. Three treatments were taken as one course, and totally one course was given. The quick cupping was applied at Shenque (CV 8), once a day, ten treatments were taken as one course, and totally three courses was given. The control group was treated with oral administration of loratadine and nasal spray of budesonide. The loratadine was given 10 mg per time, once a day for continuous 14 days; budesonide was given once a day, ten treatments were taken as one course, and totally three courses was given. The clinical efficacy in two groups after treatment was observed, and the contents of immune globulin E (IgE), interleukin-4 (IL-4), interleukin-5 (IL-5) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in peripheral serum were measured before and after the treatments.

Results: Of all the 82 patients, 79 cases completed the treatment, and 1 patient in the observation group and 2 patients in the control group dropped out. The effective rate was 87.8% (36/41) in the observation group, which was superior to 78.9% (30/38) in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, both groups effectively reduced the contents of IgE, IL-4, IL-5 and TNF-α, and the observation group had superior effect on reducing IgE and IL-4 to the control group (P<0.05).

Conclusion: The medicinal vesiculation combined with quick cupping at Shenque (CV 8) have better effect for allergic rhinitis with syndrome of yang deficiency than oral administration of loratadine and nasal spray of budesonide.

Retinal images play a pivotal contribution to the diagnosis of various ocular conditions by ophthalmologists. Extensive research was conducted to enable early detection and timely treatment using deep learning algorithms for retinal fundus images. Quick diagnosis and treatment planning can be facilitated by deep learning models' ability to process images rapidly and deliver outcomes instantly.

To introduce professor s experience that different stages of refractory facial paralysis should be treated with different acupuncture methods. In early stage of facial paralysis, identifcation is important. Electroacupuncture is applied to connect Qianzheng (Extra) with Cuanzhu (BL 2), Sibai (ST 2) and Jiachengjiang (Extra), by observing the twitches of facial muscles, it is determined whether it is easy to develop into refractory facial paralysis, in order to actively take preventive treatment.

Investigating the Impact of Conformational Molecular Engineering on the Crystal Packing of Cavity Forming Porphyrins.

Herein we report the synthesis of 5,10,15,20-tetraaryl-(X)-substituted-2,3,7,8,12,13,17,18-octaethylporphyrins (OETArXPs) and a structural investigation of their solid-state properties via small molecule X-ray diffraction. A series of halogen (fluorine to iodine), nitrogenous (azido, cyano), alkyl (TMS-acetylene and acetylene), and chained (benzyloxy) porphyrins were chosen as the initial target molecules. Following this, a selection of tetravalent metal complexes [Cu(II), Ni(II), and Pd(II)] based on these porphyrins were synthesized to allow for an investigation of the effects of metal complexes on the structural properties of these highly substituted porphyrins.

Objective: To observe clinical therapeutic effect of fuzhong (supporting the middle-jiao) manipulation of tuina for infantile anorexia.

Methods: Eighty-one children with anorexia were treated with fuzhong manipulation, including abdominal kneading, acupressure at Zhongwan (CV 12), Lanmen (Extra), Tianshu (ST 25), Zusanli (ST 36), Sanyinjiao (SP 6), spine pinching, warm moxibustion and warm scraping with supporting-yang cupping, three times a week, six times as a session. Onset time, therapeutic effect and TCM symptom scores before and after treatment were observed after two sessions and differences of therapeutic effect among different patterns were compared.
