In traumatic dental injury, concomitant occurrence of avulsion and intrusive luxation is exceptional. This is because the vectors of forces responsible for both avulsive and intrusive injuries are in different directions. The present case report reviews the management of a rare combination of avulsion in right maxillary lateral incisor (tooth #12) and intrusive luxation in right maxillary central incisor (tooth #11) in a 22-year-old Asian male. Clinical and radiographic evaluation was done at 12-month follow-up. Various treatment modalities and complications associated with both avulsion and intrusion are also discussed in the paper.

Objective: To assess the influence of conservative or invasive treatments on the appearance of sequelae in permanent successor teeth (SPT) after injuries in the support tissues of anterior deciduous teeth (ISTDT).
Methods: This cohort study accompanied 52 children with ISTDT up to the complete eruption of the permanent successor to investigate the presence or not of SPT. Trauma was clinically evaluated according to the International Association for Dental Traumatology.

Traumatic dental injuries (TDIs) of teeth occur frequently in children and adolescents. TDIs that impact the periodontal tissues and alveolar tissue can be classified into concussion, subluxation, extrusive luxation, intrusive luxation, lateral luxation, and avulsion. In these TDIs, management of injured soft tissue, mainly periodontal ligament, and dental pulp, is crucial in maintaining the function and longevity of the injured teeth.
