Background  The new severe acute respiratory syndromecoronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) causes severe acute respiratory illness accountable for causing the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) illness. Thrombotic issues, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), and cytokine storm are significant contributors to morbidity and mortality in patients with COVID-19. Elevated D-dimer levels and prothrombin times are further indicators of abnormal coagulation parameters in COVID-19 patients.

Circular RNA (circRNA) are novel types of non-coding RNA that may be used as non-invasive noninvasive biomarkers in clinical plasma samples. However, the role of circRNA in plasma samples from patients with new-onset systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) has not been extensively investigated. In the present study, reverse transcription-quantitative PCR was used to screen differentially-expressed circRNA (hsa_circ_0000175, hsa_circ_0044235, hsa_circ_0068367, hsa_circ_0002316, hsa_circ_0104871, hsa_circ_0001947, hsa_circ_0001481, hsa_circ_0008675, hsa_circ_0082689 and hsa_circ_0082688) in plasma samples isolated from 22 patients with new-onset SLE and 22 healthy control (HC).

A comprehensive study was conducted to assess the effects of seasonal transition and temperature humidity index (THI) on the adaptive responses in crossbred dairy cows reared in a tropical savanna region. A total of 40 lactating dairy cattle reared by small-scale dairy farmers in Bengaluru, India, were selected for this study. The research period comprised the transitioning season of summer to monsoon, wherein all traits were recorded at two points, one representing late summer (June) and the other early monsoon (July).

A simultaneous increase in the prevalence of diabetes mellitus (DM), a risk factor for cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), has contributed to the escalation of CVD related mortalities. To date, oxidative stress and inflammation are increasingly recognized as significant drivers of cardiovascular complications in patients with diabetes. Therefore, this study aims to explore the correlation between oxidative stress, inflammation, and hematological indices in diabetic patients with CVDs.

Background: Systemic immune-inflammation index (SII) is calculated by multiplying the neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and the platelet count. In this study, we aimed to investigate the difference of SII and other inflammatory markers in patients with acne vulgaris compared to healthy controls and themselves after Oral isotretinoin (ISO) treatment.

Materials And Methods: In this study 190 patients with severe acne vulgaris who received at least 3 months of ISO treatment (0.
