Purpose: The purpose of the study was to evaluate interobserver agreement (IOA) and accuracy of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) diagnosis of pediatric solitary liver lesions (PSLLs).

Methods: Fifty consecutive MRIs performed for PSLLs were reviewed to assess IOA and agreement between consensus imaging diagnosis and final diagnosis indicating accuracy using kappa statistics.

Results: In 39/50 cases, the MRI diagnosis given by two readers matched with substantial IOA (kappa=0.7294). There was moderate agreement (kappa=0.60784) between consensus imaging diagnosis and the final diagnosis in 10 cases with available pathology.

Conclusion: Based on the limited available pathology and follow-up, we found that most PSLLs can be noninvasively characterized and accurately diagnosed using MRI.

Objective: We aimed to elucidate the histopathological pre-diagnosis of cranial gliomas with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques in gliomas.

Method: A total of 82 glioma patients were enrolled to our study. Pre-operative conventional MRI images (non-contrast T1/T2/flair/contrast-enhanced T1) and advanced MRI images (DAG and ADC mapping, MRI spectroscopy and perfusion MRI [PMRI]) were analyzed.

State Key Laboratory of Oral & Maxillofacial Reconstruction and Regeneration, Key Laboratory of Oral Biomedicine Ministry of Education, Hubei Key Laboratory of Stomatology, School & Hospital of Stomatology, Wuhan University.

Lipomas are benign soft tissue tumors composed of mature adipocytes, commonly found in subcutaneous tissues. Despite their prevalence in various body regions, they are relatively rare in the oral and maxillofacial regions. This study retrospectively analyzed the clinical and imaging characteristics, as well as the treatment outcomes of 57 patients diagnosed with lipoma.

Background And Objective: It is unclear whether variation in covert cerebrovascular disease prevalence is attributable to ethnic differences or to other factors. We aimed to examine the associations of country of residence with covert vascular brain injury (VBI) and cognitive dysfunction among Chinese adults residing in Canada and China.

Methods: This was a multisite cross-sectional study of Chinese adults aged 40-80 years in the Canadian Alliance for Healthy Hearts and Healthy Minds (CAHHM; January 1, 2014, to December 31, 2018) and Prospective Urban Rural Epidemiological-Mind (PURE-MIND; November 1, 2010, to July 31, 2015) cohorts living in Canada and China.

Background And Objectives: Cerebrovascular reactivity (CVR) represents the ability of cerebral blood vessels to regulate blood flow in response to vasoactive stimuli and is related to cognition in cerebrovascular and neurodegenerative conditions. However, few studies have examined CVR in the medial temporal lobe, known to be affected early in Alzheimer disease and to influence memory function. We aimed to examine whether medial temporal CVR is associated with memory function in older adults with and without mild cognitive impairment (MCI).

Background: Femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) is a well-recognized cause of hip pain in adults. The hip-spine relationship between the femur, pelvis, and lumbosacral spine has garnered recent attention in hip arthroplasty. However, the hip-spine relationship has not been well described in patients with FAI.
