A tale of two planets: Disparate evolutionary models for Mars inferred from radiogenic isotope compositions of Martian meteorites.

Cosmochemistry and Isotope Signatures Group Nuclear and Chemical Sciences Division Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Livermore, CA 94550.

The radiogenic isotopic compositions of basaltic Martian meteorites (shergottites) and clinopyroxene/olivine cumulate meteorites (nakhlite/chassignites) are used to define the global evolution of Mars. However, the two main groups of meteorites demonstrate that their sources underwent divergent styles of magmatic evolution. The shergottites portray a planet that differentiated ~4.

Autologous Ovarian Tissue Transplantation: Preoperative Assessment and Preparation of the Patient.

Prof. Doctor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Istanbul Koc University School of Medicine, Istanbul, Turkey.

Importance: Ovarian tissue cryopreservation (OTC) is an innovative and established fertility preservation method. More than 150 live births have been reported worldwide to date with the use of this strategy. OTC is one of the options to preserve fertility in prepubertal girls and for women who have time constraints and/or contraindications for ovarian stimulation for oocyte/embryo freezing before cancer treatment.

Universal to all life is a reliance on energy carriers such as adenosine triphosphate (ATP) which connect energy-releasing reactions to energy-consuming processes. While ATP is ubiquitously used today, simpler molecules such as thioesters and polyphosphates are hypothesized to be primordial energy carriers. Investigating environmental constraints on the non-enzymatic emergence of metabolism, we find that hydrolysis rates-not hydrolysis energies-differentiate phosphate esters and thioesters.

Gravitational waves from subsolar mass inspiraling compact objects would provide almost smoking-gun evidence for primordial black holes (PBHs). We perform the first search for inspiraling planetary-mass compact objects in equal-mass and highly asymmetric mass-ratio binaries using data from the first half of the LIGO-Virgo-KAGRA third observing run. Though we do not find any significant candidates, we determine the maximum luminosity distance reachable with our search to be of O(0.

If dark matter (DM) consists of primordial black holes (PBHs) and particles simultaneously, PBHs are generically embedded within particle DM halos. Such "dressed PBHs" (dPBHs) are subject to modified constraints compared to PBHs and can contribute to significant DM abundance in the mass range 10^{-1}-10^{2}M_{⊙}. We show that diffractive lensing of chirping gravitational waves from binary mergers can not only discover, but can also identify dPBH lenses and discriminate them from bare PBHs on the event-by-event basis, with potential to definitively establish the coexistence of subdominant PBHs and particle DM.
