Background: The genus Celastrus is an important medicinal plant resource. The similarity of morphology and the lack of complete chloroplast genome analysis have significantly impeded the exploration of species identification, molecular evolution and phylogeny of Celastrus.
Purpose: In order to resolve the phylogenic controversy of Celastrus species, the chloroplast genome comparative analysis was performed to provide genetic evidence.

Unlabelled: Each genome encodes some codons more frequently than their synonyms (codon usage bias), but codons are also arranged more frequently into specific pairs (codon pair bias). Recoding viral genomes and yeast or bacterial genes with non-optimal codon pairs has been shown to decrease gene expression. Gene expression is thus importantly regulated not only by the use of particular codons but by their proper juxtaposition.

Warthin tumor (WT; synonym: cystadenolymphoma) represents one of the most frequent salivary gland tumors with a frequency equaling or even outnumbering that of pleomorphic adenomas in some series. Histologically, the tumor displays tall columnar oncocytic cells, arranged into two cell-thick layers lining variably cystic glands within an organoid lymphoid stroma. Tumors with exuberant squamous metaplasia in response to FNA-induced or other types of tissue injury/infarction have been referred to as "metaplastic WTs.
