Objective: Perineural invasion (PNI) is frequent in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) and could play an important role in treatment decisions.
Study Design: This retrospective study used multivariate analysis to evaluate the impact of PNI on locoregional recurrence, neck metastases, and survival in 236 consecutive patients with oral cancer.
Results: There were significant differences in the local (P = .007) and regional (P = .041) failure rates in the PNI-positive group compared with the PNI-negative group. Univariate analysis demonstrated that PNI-positive patients had significantly worse locoregional control (P = .011), disease-specific survival (P = .023), and overall survival (P = .046) compared with PNI-negative patients.
Conclusion: PNI was an independent predictor of local and regional failure in a well-defined, homogeneous population with OSCC.

CT-guided adaptive radiotherapy (ART) for the treatment of pancreatic adenocarcinoma is rapidly increasing and has been shown to provide advanced treatment tools comparable to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-guided adaptive therapy. Here, we provide the first case report of a local pancreatic recurrence treatment after definitive resection using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT)-guided ART (CT-guided ART) enabled by HyperSight imaging (Varian Medical Systems, Inc., Palo Alto, CA, USA) for daily delineation of organs-at-risk (OARs) and target to improve the quality of online ART.

Aims: Perineural invasion (PNI) is associated with survival in oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma (OCSCC). There is evidence to suggest that PNI location and extent may be of additional significance. The primary aim of this study was to evaluate the prognostic ability of PNI, including location and extent, in early-stage OCSCC.

Background: Prognostication of atypical spindle cell neoplasms, including atypical fibroxanthoma (AFX) and pleomorphic dermal sarcoma (PDS), is challenging; outcomes vary widely, and further identification of prognostic features is crucial.
Objective: To evaluate prognostic factors that may portend worse outcomes in patients with AFX and PDS.
Materials And Methods: A retrospective chart review of patients with AFX and PDS was conducted.

Pancreatoduodenectomy and distal pancreatectomy are standard treatments for various pancreatic pathologies. These procedures involve radical resection and a significant loss of pancreatic tissue, which can lead to exocrine and/or endocrine pancreatic insufficiency. In selected cases of benign tumors or those with low malignant potential, central pancreatectomy can be performed with acceptable morbidity and mortality rates.

Objective: To evaluate prognostic factors in women with invasive VSCC at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center (SYSUCC).
Methods: 137 patients with VSCC at SYSUCC were retrospectively analyzed. The Kaplan-Meier method assessed the overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) time.
