Background: Classic Hodgkin lymphoma (CHL) is an extremely common non-acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) defining malignancy and its incidence is rising. CHL is usually present in the lymph node and extranodal involvement is rare. Primary CHL of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract is exceedingly rare.

Premise: Primroses famously employ a system that simultaneously expresses distyly and filters out self-pollen. Other species in the Primulaceae family, including Lysimachia monelli (blue pimpernel), also express self-incompatibility (SI), but involving a system with distinct features and an unknown molecular genetic basis.
Methods: We utilize a candidate-based transcriptome sequencing (RNA-seq) approach, relying on candidate T2/S-RNase Class III and S-linked F-box-motif-containing genes and harnessing the unusual evolutionary and genetic features of SI, to examine whether an RNase-based mechanism underlies SI in L.
Typical renal involvement of antineutrophilic cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis (AAV) is pauci-immune glomerulonephritis that presents clinically as rapidly progressive renal failure (RPRF). Here, we report an unusual presentation of myeloperoxidase (MPO)-specific ANCA with isolated involvement of the tubulointerstitium in the form of peritubular capillaritis as the sole lesion without any involvement of the glomerulus. A 52-year-old woman with no previous comorbidities presented with nonspecific symptoms such as fatigue, dysuria, and nausea for two months.

Background: Thymoma is a rare mediastinal neoplasm originating from thymic epithelial cells, often associated with paraneoplastic syndromes. These syndromes can manifest as a range of autoimmune disorders, including myasthenia gravis, pure red cell aplasia, and aplastic anemia. Clinical trials involving the use of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in thymoma have been complicated by a high incidence of immune-related adverse effects (irAEs).

Significance: Current super-resolution imaging techniques allow for a greater understanding of cellular structures; however, they are often complex or only have the ability to image a few cells at once. This small field of view (FOV) may not represent the behavior across the entire sample, and manual selection of regions of interest (ROIs) may introduce bias. It is possible to stitch and tile many small ROIs; however, this can result in artifacts across an image.
