Background: A competent management workforce is crucial to achieve the effectiveness and efficiency of health service provision and to lead and manage the health system reform agenda. However, the traditional recruitment and promotion approach of relying on clinical performance and seniority provides limited incentives for competency development and improvement among hospital managers in Iran. There is limited evidence on the competency development needs of hospital managers in Iran that can guide setting training and development direction.

Background: Globally, many pollen monitoring networks provide the community with daily pollen information, but there are limited data on health consumer uses and benefits. This research investigated why individuals in the community access pollen information, how they use it, and the perceived benefits.
Methods: In- and post-pollen season surveys (2017-2018 and 2018-2019) enquired about symptoms, diagnoses, symptom management, access, benefits and usefulness of pollen information provided by the AusPollen Partnership.

This study examines the Welcome-ED project-a partnership between the Municipality of Turin and the Turin Museum of Savings (MoS)-designed to provide tailored financial education to diverse migrant groups through cooperation with local entities, including cooperatives, non-profit associations, and provincial centers for adult education. By analyzing the project's implementation, we identify its strengths and critical areas for improvement, offering actionable recommendations to guide the design of future financial education programs for migrants at the local level. The program's use of multimodal, interactive teaching methods is a valuable aspect of this initiative, as it contributed to increasing participant engagement and delivering accessible content.
