The interest in the study of communication in real social contexts characterized, for several decades now, numerous researches conducted in theoretical frameworks and different disciplines. Communication is at the heart of everyday life, is present in every environment of human life, in every social group, and is the element of the plot of the relationship between people. It is characterized by a substantial condition of simplicity in regard to our relationship life everyday and distinguishes the possibilities we have to interact with others. Men cannot but communicate because every more or less conscious action of our life is an act of communication.

Background: Hereditary angioedema (HAE) is a rare, autosomal dominant disorder causing swelling attacks in various parts of the body, resulting in impacts on health-related quality of life (HRQoL). The symptoms of HAE and its impacts on HRQoL have been well-documented in adults; however, relatively little is known about the experiences of adolescents with HAE. Background: Rich data on diverse patients and their treatments and outcomes within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems can be used to generate real world evidence. A health recommender system (HRS) framework can be applied to a decision support system application to generate data summaries for similar patients during the clinical encounter to assist physicians and patients in making evidence-based shared treatment decisions.
