September 2024

Yunnan Provincial Institute of Endemic Disease Prevention and Control, Yunnan Provincial Key Laboratory of Natural Epidemic Disease Prevention and Control Technology, Dali, Yunnan 671000, China.

Objective: To investigate the capability for distinguishing between the morphology of and snails and its influencing factors among schistosomiasis control professionals in Yunnan Province, so as to evaluate the interference of snails with surveys.

Methods: and snails were sampled from 9 schistosomiasis-endemic counties (districts) in Yunnan Province. The capability for distinguishing between and snails was evaluated using online questionnaire surveys and field blind tests among schistosomiasis control professionals, and the proportions of correct judgment, misjudgment and missed judgment were calculated.

The asymmetric electro-hydrostatic actuator (EHA) is a promising distributed hydraulic actuation solution for the more-electric aircraft (MEA). However, the flow asymmetry is a common problem causing the poor position control accuracy and dynamics of EHA. To achieve good flow control in all quadrants and save energy in the assistive quadrants, a digital control four quadrant electro-hydrostatic actuator with a separated hydraulic motor using a novel four-quadrant division principle was proposed in this article.

Sensorimotor adaptation impedes perturbation detection in grasping.

Psychon Bull Rev

July 2024

Cognitive Systems Lab, Institute of Physics, Chemnitz University of Technology, 09126, Chemnitz, Germany.

Humans achieve skilled actions by continuously correcting for motor errors or perceptual misjudgments, a process called sensorimotor adaptation. This can occur with the actor both detecting (explicitly) and not detecting the error (implicitly). We investigated how the magnitude of a perturbation and the corresponding error signal each contribute to the detection of a size perturbation during interaction with real-world objects.
