Purpose: To report choroidal metastasis from the newly described nested variant of urothelial carcinoma of the bladder as the initial presentation of metastatic disease.
Methods: A 58-year-old man with a history of urothelial bladder carcinoma developed progressive decreased visual acuity in the right eye. Fundus examination showed an amelanotic choroidal tumor simulating a choroidal melanoma. Results of ancillary diagnostic tests, needle aspiration biopsy, and systemic workup failed to confirm the diagnosis of choroidal metastasis. The patient was treated with enucleation the affected right eye.
Results: Histopathologic analysis of the enucleated eye disclosed a choroidal metastatic carcinoma with urothelial features similar to those of the bladder carcinoma excised previously. Despite adjuvant systemic chemotherapy, the patient died 7 months after enucleation.
Conclusion: Choroidal metastasis may be the initial manifestation of metastatic bladder carcinoma and is associated with a poor survival prognosis.

Because of its benign nature and rarity, circumscribed choroidal hemangioma (CCH) often receives limited attention, leading to a high rate of misdiagnosis and a lack of standardized treatment protocols. We provide a thorough clarification of the demographics, clinical features, diagnosis, management, and prognosis of CCH. We conducted a systematic search of the PubMed, EMBASE, and Ovid databases up to December, 2023, to identify relevant studies.

Purpose: To present the case of a young patient with BRAF V600E-mutant cutaneous melanoma who developed bilateral choroidal metastases complicated by neovascular glaucoma (NVG) in both eyes following the interruption of nivolumab therapy.
Methods: A 28-year-old female with primary cutaneous melanoma of the left hand underwent surgical resection and adjuvant nivolumab. Immunotherapy was discontinued due to immune-related acute interstitial nephritis.

Background: Intracranial choroid plexus tumors (CPT) are rare and primarily affect young children. Leptomeningeal dissemination (LMD) has been reported not only in high-grade choroid plexus carcinoma (CPC) but also in lower histological grades; however, a systematic evaluation of CPT-specific imaging characteristics remains lacking.
Methods: We analyzed the imaging characteristics of LMD in a single-center pediatric cohort of 22 CPT patients (thirteen choroid plexus papilloma (CPP), six atypical choroid plexus papilloma (aCPP), three CPC), comparing LMD features with those of the primary tumor.

An 8-year-old girl with refractory high-risk neuroblastoma underwent 68Ga-DOTATATE PET/CT to evaluate the feasibility of potential 177Lu-DOTATATE therapy. The scan showed multiple foci of abnormal 68Ga-DOTATATE accumulation in the bone region, indicating the presence of bone metastases. Unexpectedly, an abnormal tracer uptake was noted in the left lateral ventricle area.

Background: Proton beam therapy (PBT) has been gradually introduced for treating choroidal melanoma. This study systematically reviewed clinical reports to evaluate the efficacy and safety of PBT in choroidal melanoma patients.
Methods: This systematic review included all the primary studies involving PBT for choroidal melanoma patients through April 2024.
