Purpose: Coats disease is a rare condition characterized by retinal vascular telangiectasia, aneurysms, and leakage from these abnormal blood vessels. We report the phenomenon and treatment of Coats disease with diffuse hyperpermeability from angiographically normal retinal capillaries.
Methods: This case series describes two patients with Coats disease, diagnosed based on fundus photography and fluorescein angiography. The first patient was treated with intravitreal bevacizumab and limited laser photocoagulation. The second patient was treated only with limited photocoagulation.
Results: The diffuse exudation from normal retinal capillaries resolved with treatment of the focal primary vascular Coats lesions.
Conclusion: Vasculopathies such as Coats disease may produce diffuse hyperpermeability of otherwise normal capillaries in the fundus. Limiting treatment only to the primary Coats lesions is a minimally invasive strategy that preserves normal capillaries.

Various space occupying lesions can arise in the orbit, ranging from developmental anomalies to malignancies, and many of the diseases occurring in children are different from the pathologies in the adult population. As the clinical presentation is frequently nonspecific, radiologic evaluation is essential for lesion detection and characterization as well as patient management. While orbital masses may in some cases involve multiple compartments, a simple compartmental approach is the key for the diagnosis on imaging studies, and MRI is the modality of choice.

Purpose: The relative ellipsoid zone reflectivity (rEZR) is an innovative biomarker for photoreceptor alterations and showed association with disease staging in macular telangiectasia type 2 (MacTel). However, its prognostic relevance for the ellipsoid zone (EZ) loss is unclear.
Methods: Longitudinal spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) imaging of patients with MacTel from an observational natural history study was used for en face determination of manifest EZ loss.

Purpose: To investigate retinal vascular abnormalities in the affected and fellow eyes of children with Coats' disease using Optos® ultra-widefield fundus fluorescein angiography (UWFFA) and compare the peripheral vascular abnormalities between fellow eyes and normal control eyes.
Methods: Children diagnosed with Coats' disease who underwent UWFFA were retrospectively reviewed. Healthy eyes with complete UWFFA data were selected as controls.

Introduction: The safety and effectiveness of glucagon-like peptide receptor agonists (GLP1-RA) in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) are poorly understood.
Methods: Patients with IBD treated with GLP1-RA were retrospectively identified for outcomes of adverse events, weight change, and clinical, endoscopic, and biomarker response.
Results: Among a total of 120 patients with IBD, gastrointestinal side effects being the most common (11.

Introduction: Rates of morbidity and mortality are high in the setting of Fontan physiology and effective medical therapies are not well-established. Clinical trials assessing phosophodiesterase-5-inhibitors, such as sildenafil, have not demonstrated major benefit in patients with a Fontan-type circulation but have only included stable, well-functioning people.
Methods: We sought to retrospectively characterize the people followed by the ANZ Fontan Registry prescribed sildenafil >30 days post Fontan-surgery.
